[ Good Omens ]
notes: drawn for fun as a punk AU for the series, Good Omens. this one's inspired by Wear Black by the Mountain Goats! there was supposed to be an Aziraphale counterpart to this one but I never got around to it.
The color palette for this illustration has dark reds, with gold and pale purples. The illustration is centered around a cracked, stone slab bordered by cast-iron poles. It features lyrics from the Mountain Goats' Wear Black. The slab says: "Wear black on your forgotten red heart / wear black in the present tense / wear black when you come around / wear black in your absence."
Leaning against the slab is Crowley from Good Omens, smoking a cigarette. On the back of his jacket is an embroidered snake in red thread. On one side of the slab, Aziraphale's hand reaches upwards to catch a shower of water. On the other side, his hand is holding black snakeskin framed within a constellation. In the upper left corner, there is a large, dark red snake slithering in between two blooms of night-blooming cereus.
